Bodily Freedom is Not Real Freedom. It is truly rare to see a “free” man or woman. Most men and women think they are free while their consciousness is completely shackled in psychological chains. These are not like ordinary chains for in their subtlety they are even harder to get rid off because of the difficulty in recognizing them let alone knowing how to destroy them. Every now and then you see a man who is truly free. A man that doesn’t walk in dead man’s shoes, a man who is free because he is not influenced by activity but by wisdom.
I’m speaking about the many living-dead people who walk the streets. These people think they are free because they move their hands and feet, speak, think and are freely walking but, in reality, they are in bondage. They are not free; they are like men walking in their sleep chained by Nature and subconscious habits.
Most men and women are the living dead thinking they are fully awake when they are not. We have all heard about sleep-walkers that cry out “fire” or lecture while they walk in their sleep. The majority of people are exactly like that. The one’s who buried themselves under the ignorance of wrong living need help resurrecting themselves. The meaning of resurrection is “the technique in emerging from what you are now into what you are going to be in your future.” That is to live again, a renewed life with beneficial changes.
You can go to a carpenter and resurrect your damaged furniture in the upholsterer’s repair shop or have your house resurrected with help from a building contractor. But what we are speaking about is the resurrection and revival of the human body. Resurrection in this perspective represents any elevating change. All things undergo a process of change; you either go backwards or forward. Either way we must accept changes that are harmful or beneficial to us for there is no standing still.
A great deal of knowledge is required to cut through those psychological chains. There could be thousands of years of past life actions pursuing someone. This is why the average person is so helpless against the binding effects of past karmic actions. Being bound by those invisible restraints gives them a feeling of hopelessness. These dead walkers need body resurrection to promote uplifting changes that will be meaningful to their lives. There are many forms of bondage. There is physical bondage for one. If someone is unable to resurrect the body from the bonds of illness then he or she is still jailed behind the bars of matter and needs to resurrect from sickness through the practice of right living.
Understanding food values is an important part of it; for example, it is detrimental to your system eating meat; so is having a vegetable dinner of killed vitamins from improper cooking. The brains of our food is vitamins so, it’s absolutely necessary to have vitamins in our system for the development of physical and mental strength. Carrots are rich in vitamins especially the tops and bottoms. You can wash them but do nothing else because these vitamins give vitality to your body. We have all heard an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Try an orange a day, a lemon a day, an apple a day and two tablespoons of ground nuts like walnuts, organic almonds, mixed in a half a glass of orange juice. Remember we want to resurrect ourselves with living foods not mummified foods. Unsulphured figs, raisins and prunes are good but ordinary raisins and figs are mummies. The fumes from the sulphur passes through them and kills the vitamins. They do not decay because they are treated. They are dead and are so well preserved you can leave them in your will as antiques to coming generations. We should all check the labels on dried fruit and everything we eat for that matter.
Everyone has to eat. Isn’t it rational to eat right? You could be on a starvation diet often eating whole meals of pies, white bread and sugar that can gratify your hunger, but in time this could kill you. A poisonous rattle-snake warns us before it bites but rich gravy made with white flower is a silent killer. It won’t signal a warning like the snake because it looks and tastes good. White bread and all things refined, like white sugar, grains and flower gives colonic poisoning __ it is bad for you; however, whole and brown foods like unpolished grains, fruits, natural sugar in honey are good for you. Until the mills came we had unprocessed cereals. Nowadays, in a roundabout way, the process of refining foods is taking the nutrients out of the grains. It is good to have a hard boiled egg, one slice of whole grain bread with butter, never with margarine, and a small piece of cheese. You can safely eat these daily more or less. Eat fresh organic fruit and vegetables. Never over prepare or over cook.
Drink filtered water 1 gallons a day, green or white tea (seep for 10 minutes) unsweetened. Sugar is the enemy! Water, natural fat and proteins are our friends. NEVER low fat or fat free anything! Consume raw, fresh, organic, unprocessed whole foods and a lot of water. Replace red meat, pork and lamb with organic chicken, (breast meat) organic turkey and safe un-farmed fish. Avoid sweet drinks, most juices, diet or regular sodas, Gatorade, power drinks and vitamin water. Resurrect your mind from the bad habits of wrong eating.
Cook with only extra virgin olive oil, saturated fats (butter), coconut oil, palm oil (non-hydrogenated.) Diets high in omega-6 fats, which include these 6 common cooking oils are dangerous, canola oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, corn oil, soybean oil and peanut oil as they oxidize during cooking making them even more harmful as they increase the risk of colon and other cancers and change existing tumors into metastasizing aggressive monsters. Get rid of them. Foods should never be prepared or cooked in these dangerous oils. Avoid buying any processed foods containing these oils to avoid inflammation of the arteries, this is what causes heart attacks not cholesterol. Most processed foods contain at least one of these oils. Studies show that a high intake of omega-6 oils also increases the incidence of depression and neuroticism.
Fasting is the next step to cleaning up your body. You should fast one day a week on nothing but orange juice to give your internal organs a break and let them rest. One day a week equals fifty two days a year. You would be letting your body clean itself up to resurrection. You will live! You won’t die. The next step is to fast once a month consecutively for at least two or three days only living on orange juice. Remember the saying “Man shall not live by bread alone,” and you know the rest of it. Fasting on orange juice scrubs every cell of your body preventing poisons from accumulating.
Next is mental resurrection of our psychological habits. Why weave yourself into a cocoon like the silkworm. Most of us are equally entrapped. The silk manufactures get hold of the cocoon before the silkworm can develop its wings and it meets its death in a self-created tomb. We foolishly weave a cocoon around ourselves entombed with threads of ignorance, worry and fear before the wings of spirituality have a chance to grow until death or disease comes to destroy us. We deceive ourselves thoughtlessly putting the chains of bondage around ourselves. What is the most damaging. The wrong ways we are living, our misguided thinking or acting on indiscriminant thoughts?
Now comes spiritual resurrection. We must understand the resurrection of Jesus Christ is different. It is much higher still. Understanding higher resurrection means you realize creation. Next is to resurrect from formal faith by crucifying self-sufficiency. Those formal beliefs which has given you very little satisfaction from outgrown religions have existed under with the beliefs that you know, but in truth you don’t know. The conceited self-sufficiency of the ego is the great crucifixion of the soul, thinking how wise and magnificently big you are. You must release your soul from the bondage to the limitations and smallness of the body and its afflictions that it is subject to.
We must all meditate. Metaphysical relaxation means spiritual resurrection. In meditation you release yourself from the incessant habit of identifying yourself with the body by doing away with body consciousness and your soul nature is then revealed. Most people think resurrection means that it only takes place after you die. We have to resurrect ourselves while we are in the body. Unconscious resurrection is done every night when we sleep. Conscious resurrection is done in meditation and that’s what needs to be learned.
Last is to unshackle the chains from your will. Train yourself to be un-enslaved. Bodily freedom should give you the freedom to cut your own throat if you want to but you should certainly not use your free will or freedom to do anything like that. However it seems that in the name of freewill or freedom it is in our nature as human beings to desire to do the things that are bad for us. Mention to the self-willed individual to do a thing that is good and naturally he will do just the opposite.
Behaving in this way is immature and childish. One who is a truly mature person is ripe with wisdom and it has nothing to do with age. When you’re a slave you’re a slave. Regardless of how one tries, it is impossible to do without the things he is enslaved to. We must not be enslaved to anything. Others will test us but we should not let anyone weaken our will once we have made a resolve. From the teachings of PY.
