These websites, and mainstream TV stations with their editors, journalists, and reporters who peddle leaks, fake news and gossip are around like vultures that soar high in the sky but are always keeping their minds eye circling on the carrion on the ground below awaiting their chances to swoop in to pick at the dead carcass.
Journalists, professors, commentators, progressive websites, newspapers, radio, TV broadcasters and their parent companies, bloggers and publications giving False News or those mentioned who love to spice up reporting and pickle gossip or leaks to put up their own agenda for political gain to destroy or harm the soul of others are playing with karmic fire especially interfering with spiritual or religious beliefs are committing a spiritual crime by catering to the degraded taste of their base, listeners and readers who are uniformed, like-minded and gossip lovers.
To call forth God’s judgment is to gloat over the faults of one’s fellow beings and by critiquing them in a spirit of intolerance. Pointing out the mental dirt in others is a metaphysical and psychological error and brings baneful bad karma on themselves; instead one should clean out the dirt in the mansion of one’s own mind. Those who are so eager to reform the behavior in others must learn to live thoughtfully before precisely discerning how to place understanding in the lives of anyone they think is prone to error.
Many overly liberal leftists are delving in unscrupulous sensationalism with an uncharitable political agenda and are not becoming the healers of immorality, but instead they are becoming scandal-mongers. The opinions of those who are not at all qualified to assess critically, particularly those who condemn and carp just to invent discord for their individual or political pleasure should be totally ignored.
Critical people themselves cannot stand criticism as they lack humility. Judges who self-elect themselves critics of others quite effortlessly forget to analyze their own internal failings. Thinking that they are always right they are amplifying the mistakes of others to diminish the enormity of their own faults. Hypocrisy and insincerity taint the character of anyone who is not interested in overcoming his weak points, yet bears aversion for such limitations. If he is thrilled in ripping apart people who suffer from the same type of character flaws he or she has, he or she is hiding his own defects behind the scorn of gossip and criticism and is a coward and a sadist.
Here is a hard example of karmic consequences. Have you ever wondered why some are born blind or soon become blind or crippled? It is said that some go blind very early in life with certain deformities such as becoming mentally retarded for laughing and enjoying the view of lions eating Christians in the Coliseum or from blinding others. Those with overly progressive or liberal tendencies who defame others for disagreeing with them are also playing with karmic fire especially interfering with spiritual or religious beliefs. Remember what happened to those who persecuted the Christians. Those whose astral-blueprints are tainted with obnoxious bad habits become extremely terrified at the time of death and try to become deaf to the call of death.
The irony is that unprincipled corrupt people who enjoy chastising others about their agenda or personality flaws typically possess the identical flaws themselves. The same things that irritate people most in others is most often located festering inside themselves. Unable to honestly look at themselves, such persons suffer feelings of overwhelming gilt and find pleasure in scathing others to vent their frustration and find pleasure in scathing others snidely hiding from their own reprehensibility and themselves.
Every time you criticize or spread gossip on anyone you are automatically in tune with that person pouring the salt of acerbic gossip into the open character wounds of others is purposeless. Did you know that criticizing or gossiping seems to act similar to an energy drink for people who crave this type of titillation? Those same gossipers should gratify their lust by shouting openly in public all their secret sins they committed themselves. Such disclosure would be unbearable to them even for a minute.
Even among the well-meaning gossip cannot have a favorable result for the person or people being talked about; it makes them feel ashamed, angered, depressed and strengthens their obstinate behavior.
For those who think about the news all the time it will not do you any good so why even worry about it? You did not come into this earth to lose yourself or become a mechanical being lost in machines but to find your true self. You must quit becoming attached to them. Einstein said, “I fear the day when the technology overlaps with our humanity. The world will only have a generation of idiots.” That day has arrived. Reconsider your values; nothing on this earth is tangible. You can start by practicing detachment.
