Mrinalini Mata said Master and ALL close to him and to this day they are REPUBLICAN. In fact Mrinalini would allow her to copy her voting ballots as she too wanted to vote as Master would. Well conservatives, Christians, and those that are pro-life have no place in a Democrat administration and are oppressed.
Some of you young liberals and some millennial’s make the wrong choices because the worldly news constantly urge you to do wrong by appealing to your present habits and prenatal karmic tendencies. It is wrong to interpret the hollow voice of your ego as divine guidance for the voice of the ego is devoid of divine guidance and one soon learns that no matter how much misguided rationalization one uses, nothing can lessen the karmic responsibility of hasty actions. Rationalization is never the answer, for you will always justify your reasons for the things you want to do. Now there is nothing but fake news.
Forty percent or more of the people of this country don’t know there isn’t any news anymore. Not what people think of as news. What do you think of is news? News is where someone goes someplace where something is happening and they watch things happen and then they tell other people that were not there what happened, it’s journalism. It’s reporting things that other people didn’t see. That does not happen anymore, that is not what’s happening. Today we have left wing activists disguised as journalists promoting the agenda of the Democrat Party and it is made to look like news and forty percent of the American people who are clueless because all they watch is mainstream media believe it is still news. They believe they are hearing the news.
When they watch the lies and the distortions of the Russia hoax and the cue, they think it’s news. They think when it is over and when there wasn’t any evidence in that the Muller investigation, well niece try, didn’t find anything. They don’t know it was a total hoax, they don’t know it was all made up. The people that only watch mainstream media have no clue what it really was. So how do we deal with it? And when there is no news and folks there really isn’t any. Who is the real anchorman that endeavors to tell you the real truth? There are a few but they are not on NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC and CNN or in the New York Times and the Washington Post which are part of the Democrat Party. This is why now they are losing their viewers to NewsMax and Fox and listening to talk radio.
Now if you are a Democrat and are happy to eat up the false news that’s fine but where is your conscience? The key is listening to your conscience. Your conscience is God’s cosmic intelligence vibrating through you. Each time you interfere with your conscience you are back into ego consciousness, ignorance and duality. You have human intelligence which endlessly lies to you then you have divine intelligence and your conscience. Just think about all the mistakes you have made listening to yourself.
When you use your conscience you bypass all karmic influence from the subconscious mind because the subconscious is connected with your higher self. Each time you listen to your ego you go down; each time you listen to your soul intuition you go forward. Quite simple isn’t it.

She has lived the life and continues to this day living the life. She made it her “business” to live her life according to the principals of Master not what she “thought” Master’s principals were. Many years ago she privately shared the “voting” habits of Master and Dr. and Mamma with me. I did not spend much time “questioning” the logic in the choice of parties. I chose to follow in my Master’s footsteps.
Every old timer close to Master and or the Lewis’s that I have come to know continue to “cling” to the values of conservatism Master and Dr. so loved. They exhibit distain for the “liberal” movement so “popular” today. No party is perfect but the conservative party remains the closest to the basic Christian values that founded this Country and God’s Laws.
Anyone who truly wanted to live as the Master lived voted the way He did. She told me that all who were close to the Master voted as He did.
Everybody wants education to be better. The academe (academia) I love that word, that’s the academy of institutions of higher learning which means indoctrination centers know as universities. That’s the right buzz words but the point with education is it doesn’t take a lot of money to fix it, money is what has broken it. What’s wrong with education is what’s taught, what’s wrong with education is whose teaching it, what’s wrong with education is the curriculum, what’s wrong with education is the premise, what’s wrong with education is the fact that people are not learning critical thinking. They are not learning how to be curious and satisfy their curiosity, they are not learning how to be suspicious and how to think at all. Education has become indoctrination. Why do we need schools like these when you are learning about women’s studies, gender studies, climate change studies and all this other garbage that doesn’t prepare you to do anything but be miserably unhappy as an activist unable to change anything.
Ma Durga’s comments on political and moral issues as told to Karen Dardick.
Although Ma Durga spent most of the time counseling on spiritual matters, she encouraged us to ask questions on other topics. I had been trained as a journalist, and had some liberal leanings, and I wanted her guidance on social issues. After she explained these issues, I understood that my opinions were not in keeping with Master’s teachings and so I changed them.
In the early 1980’s, abortion was an issue. I had thought that a woman should determine what happens to her body and asked her about this. I was new to the SRF lessons at that time. She explained, as does Master, that the soul enters a body at the time of conception. It is not right to take the life of the unborn child. She added, “a woman who has an abortion will know what it is to want a child and not be able to have one.”
Euthanasia—we discussed this and I thought that we are kinder to our animals than humans because we put animals out of their misery when they are very sick or severely injured. Can’t we do the same for people? When I was in college, I volunteered at local nursing homes and was so upset to see these ill, very elderly people just waiting to die. .But Ma Durga said, “No, the soul learns to the last breath. Let God determine when the soul should go.” However, she did not condone extreme measures in keeping a soul trapped in a body when the soul wanted to leave.
Politics—Ma Durga voted Republican, (she said Master was a Republican). When Ronald Reagan was elected, she was happy because she said he was good for America. She told me that when the assassination attempt was made against him, Master was there and protected Reagan so that he was not killed. I asked why He did that. Ma Durga said, “Reagan was good for America and Master loves America.”
Homosexuality—she counseled homosexual people to be celibate. She said, “sex is sex, whether hetero- or homosexual and at some point must be given up.”
Illegal immigration—
Ma Durga always said to obey the laws. And this includes how to immigrate to America.
Ma Durga exemplified morality in every way. She acknowledged that we all have free choice to live our lives as we please, but if anyone wanted her counsel, it was necessary to follow the moral precepts advocated for a spiritual life. She would not accept anyone for counseling who drank alcohol in any form, including wine or beer. She also advocated not drinking coffee. When I met her, I did drink coffee. She said it was harming me and to stop, which I did. In later years she recommended tea because when our bodies’ age, tea is beneficial. However, drink only one cup of black tea per day, and not too strong. She didn’t eliminate all sugar, but suggested moderate use of it.

I Meet Daughter of Doctor Lewis
Around 1999 I became fast friends with Brenda Lewis Rosser and John Rosser. Brenda is the daughter of Dr. MW Lewis the first Kriyaban in America in 1920, First VP of SRF, Director of Golden World Colony in Encinitas, Responsible for postulant monks, prolific lecturer on teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, successful business man, householder and to this day holds the highest marks at Tufts University an ivy league school in the Northeast of US. When Paramhansa Yogananda came to America it was the Lewis’ who he lived with for three years. He literally lived in their home with them. Doctor was like a brother to Master. In fact, they were born in the same year, 1893.
Brenda was two years old when Master came to live with them. He affectionately called her, Brendoo. Brenda also worked at Mt. Washington, was the Bookkeeper for the Golden World Colony in and the Mushroom Burger Café in Encinitas, CA. She lived in the Ashram along with her father and Mother, “Mamma Lewis” (lovingly called by the devotees). Brenda received $25.00 per month from SRF the same as the monastics.
Brenda and John Rosser were highly esteemed in the world of SRF. When spending much time with the Rosser’s I soaked up all the many stories of life with Master through the years. On this day we were at the San Diego Temple. Since an election was coming up in the Fall, I decided to ask the Rossers just how Dr. and Mamma Lewis voted. I had always voted democrat as my parents did. I knew before I asked the question I may not like the answer. But I was determined to use this time with these direct disciples of to learn the “inside story” of Master’s personal life – and that of Doctors too. I got my courage up and asked, “how did Doctor and Mamma vote? I also assumed they voted as Master did since they patterned their life after His.
I was hit hard with a brick, “we don’t talk of such things”. That reply was not expected. I held fast as I felt regardless of what beliefs I had held onto all these years (devotee for 21 years at that time) I was willing to give them up to embrace Master’s. I wanted to be as much in line with Master and his life as possible even if that meant giving up ALL I THOUGHT SO DEAR – ALL OF IT!!!! So, I clarified my intent. “I do not ask for any other reason than I want to vote the way Master and Doctor voted”. Her answer was, “Master and Doctor voted republican. Everyone close to Master voted republican”.
There I had it. I absorbed it and thought of all the years I had voted differently and pondered why. Now that I knew this, I was happy to change my view on politics. If it is good enough for Master, it is sure good enough for me. I DID NOT ALLOW MYSELF TO RATIONALIZE. I was happy to vote like Master and all close to him. It is an honor to vote as my Master did and the disciples close to him.
I Meet Ex-Nun of 25 Years
Quite a few years later I met a woman who had been a nun in the ashram for 25 years. She was now a householder. She was a lovely person and we spoke freely. Of course, I asked all I could about “life in the ashram”. She was close to Daya Mata, Mrinalini Mata, Sister Sailasuta, Sister Shanti, Sister Revati and those who were the core disciples of Masters. It seemed my friend was given privileges to spend one on one time with these spiritual powerhouses. Amazingly she was invited to go on retreat with them due to her ability to cook and fix things – a talent most of the other nuns did not have. So, she had much personal knowledge about the Master’s direct female disciples.
One day she asks me a question. She asks me what the other devotees out there think of our President (President Donald J. Trump). I told her there were many liberals and seemingly few conservatives. At the risk of losing her friendship I boldly told her my experience with Dr. Lewis’ daughter and my love for the conservative party ever since. I told her I loved the President and all he was doing and felt the basic Yama and Niyama laws are broken when supporting abortion and other “liberal” agendas. She replied to me, “you have passed the test”.
I was shocked!!! What test? She of course was teasing me a little. She was happy to know I had learned how the “great ones” voted (and still vote) and now I was happy we had more in common. Then she told me a few special things which I will share with you the reader.
The monks and nuns are absolutely forbidden to talk about politics due to pressures from our government. There are strict rules for non-profits and NOT talking politics is one of them. They all adhere to the rule. To this day, if you call MC or ask a monastic they will not directly answer. This is for the reason I described above. Yes, ALL close to Master were/are conservative and they know Master was a republican.
To this day, most (not all) understand this and follow suit.
One of the Presidents of SRF, a most lovely and advanced soul, would share with my friend exactly how she voted for every item on the ballot. My friend would also vote same as did others close who were given this privileged knowledge (because they inquired and wanted to be truly “in-line” with the way Master thought. She was happy to vote the same as an enlightened being such as President of SRF. I feel honored to hear the above story and of course it matched with what Doctor Lewis’ daughter told me.
I Meet an Ex-Monk
Last year I was given a place to stay for a few days. It was a guest house of a brilliant man who has been a monk for around 25 years. For many years he was part of the “inner circle” with Daya Mata and the Board of Directors. He was personally invited by Daya Mata to participate. Since he was “over the top” genius with finances, engineering, building, developing – it seemed everything he touches turns to gold – he assisted them with their many difficult decisions and often sought his financial guidance. He spent much time with the most senior and prominent monks and nuns in the Order of SRF in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
When I visited we talked endlessly for hours about SRF. I shared with him stories of the Lewis family and he shared with me stories of events at MC, Lake Shrine, Encinitas and Hidden Valley. These were insider type of stories. Then the subject came up of politics. Since he had pictures of our President up everywhere, I knew where he stood. He was a fan! He said exactly the same thing I heard before, “Master and all those close to him were republicans” and to this day they vote this way…..except for a few.
