There’s
a lot of circumstances in Webster’s life that support linking him to
Guruji. In one of the published talks, Guruji says he incarnated and
was a lawyer before he incarnated as Yogananda. Picking through the
noble minded lawyers in the past few hundred years comes down to a very
few. William Penn and of course, Webster.
If
you want to do some internet searching, look for a photo of Webster’s
children. One daughter looks like Daya Ma’s twin. No proof but
fascinating.
Webster
sacrificed his political career and his integrity was attacked for the
rest of his life when in 1850, he delayed the Civil War by promoting a
compromise with the slave states. If he hadn’t done that, the nation
would have split apart then, without Lincoln to hold the union together.
Interesting
as it all is, we still have to practice meditation and devotion to
Guruji, no matter what roles he played on this stage of planet earth.
