Remember this to those who want to end the countless cycles of rebirth, the love of your body is nothing but the love of your own jail. Not that we should reject it but do not be attached to your body. You do your part in this creation as more of an observer and are less affected by it. All the spiritually advanced do exactly that. Start by doing this a little at a time and you will feel better handling disappointments. You stay in the middle at all times and that means when joy and sorrow comes you learned to stay in the middle. That’s how you rid yourself of grief, anger, sorrow, fear, stress, nervousness and many other adverse feelings.
Most don’t realize the body is a nest of troubles and don’t get it until the humiliation of aging starts with the onset of heart trouble, dementia, cancer and other disease. Be even minded in sorrow and pleasure. When you live in an impregnable fortress of understanding, no sadness can touch you when your emotions are anchored in that which is changeless. Whatever happens, say to yourself, “it’s alright. I’m just dreaming in God’s dream and naught can touch me.” If you take the ups and downs of life to seriously you’re in for a rough roller coaster ride.
The master tells us that within the spiritual eye lies the answer of the body’s state of karmic impurity or purity according to the reflection of the vibrations issuing from the flow of the spinal center’s astral currents. Our fleshy house is perishable and if we do not live hygienically and follow dietary and health laws, we will die of disease. Contrary, if we follow the laws of health and keep a watchful eye on our bad habits, we enhance the chances of being born with a strong and healthy body in our next incarnation. If we abuse our body by transgressing health laws by over indulging in food, tobacco, sex or drugs, we alter the DNA code of our physical body. This then affects our astral-blueprints, and the outcome is dependent upon the level of the abuse to our physical body.
This body, the five senses are the five chains which keep our soul bound to our bodies. Therefore, where do we start? We start with the way we eat. Start fasting to spiritualize your body and your mind. You have to fast one day a week to live more by life force and less and less by gross physical material in your body.
The more you begin to transfer your body consciousness from food the more you begin to feel free from constant hunger, and then you begin to withdraw from your body. This body attachment is based upon food and that is why all the great yogis are ascetics. The first thing advanced yogis do is not to use food primarily for enjoyment but only eat food that the body needs. To use food to replace decayed material in the body involves constant change in physical cells which ultimately deteriorates and dies. So to live longer and healthier, fast one day a week, that’s fifty two days a year without food and this, allows your body to clean up. Unless you fast to clean up your body your cells cannot be receptive to astral energy.

What the Chinese call yin and yang are when the negative and positive currents are harmonized within you, then you begin to have proper equilibrium in your mind. Those two currents are responsible for the harmonious vibrations in you thirty thousand billion cells. Therefore unregulated breath caused by emotional current is the main culprit for inharmonious vibrations.
The science of pranayama. Prana means energy and yama means control, that means control of our alternating breath, inhalation and exhalation to become perfectly rhythmic and once they become rhythmic you can slow them down through the science of pranayama. Breathlessness is the technique which makes you immortal and until we realize our own immortality we will have to reincarnate again and again. That is why through breathlessness a new world of perceptions opens, the soul is released from its bodily cage and one can enter the astral world at will, not to accomplish astral travel but to meet the cosmic guru and be in the company of highly advanced beings and above all enter into the chakras of the spine. Our great guru has said “get your consciousness into the spine with Kriya Yoga and once you are there I can take mountains of your karma away from you.”
When you practice the meditation technique of Hong-Sau you think you are just practicing relaxation, you are very very mistaken. When you obtain even a little calmness of breath the lid is open and trillions of specks of energy fill you from the ether, you become so powerful you can’t imagine. This is what you will feel by the depth of intensity in your meditation. For you in the world with so short of time to meditate put intensity, develop intensity, if you have fifteen minutes put in everything you’ve got and then you will find that patience will not be necessary.
